gone pillaging.
October 11, 2008
Alas, no tales of cyberzombie horror this week, but there will be a triumphant return from our heroes next weekend. We are going to unplug from the Matrix this weekend and raid some neighbouring villages (actually, we’re going for Thanksgiving at a local cottage).
In the mean time, may I wish all of you a wonderful weekend, and if you’re looking for something great to read, why not check out some of the amazing folks to your right in the sidebar!
PS – on Monday (sometime, depending on when I can upload it), a Fight Club themed post with great relevance to the current events of our world as they are unfolding.

I look forward to that post! And I hope you’ve had a most excellent weekend!

Best wishes for a great family Thanksgiving weekend.
Happy Thanksgiving, Brett.
Everyday should be Thanksgiving~ I am thankful for your insight and wisdom, plus, I REALLY like turkey. (Do Canadians eat turkey on Thanksgiving?)

Brett,
Just got back from some pillaging of my own. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and don’t burn anything down before the turkey’s on the table.

Kelly

Happy Thanksgiving Brett! How many turkeys does it take to feed a village of blondies?

@steph,
Thank you – it should be up shortly. I did have a great weekend, and I hope you did too.
@Rita,
Thank you my friend – I hope you also had a great weekend.
@Ed,
Thanks, my friend – hope to see you today for a walk.
@Jamie,
Thank you – and I agree, every day we should give thanks. Oh yes, we sure do eat turkey, just a bit earlier in the year than some other folks.
@Kelly,
I hope you got some good loot on your pillaging adventure – it was a great time, and even though we had a gas stove, nothing was burned down (though Cathryn burned her fingers on a spoon!)
@Amy,
Thank you my good friend – well, we had about 35 pounds of turkey, I think… and they’re only little – I’m going to need three jobs soon!
He he, I had to give the loot. I fail as a Viking, eh? Both my parents’ birthdays are in the next week and a half. Did ravage a delicious cake, though.

I always thought cake was a fair trade for presents
so you are definitely a Viking in my book!
